About us The State Chancellery of Latvia develops and coordinates the policy for the governance of state-owned enterprises and state shareholdings, and performs the duties established by law for the institutional coordination of state share and enterprise governance.

State-owned enterprises State-owned enterprises are companies owned by the state. On behalf of the state, each enterprise is overseen by a designated ministry or public institution acting as the shareholder representative. The state, as the owner of these enterprises, aims to generate the greatest possible economic and social benefit for society.
